Oil and Gas Marginal Fields Development
SMIP develops low cost production concepts for marginal fields where conventional approaches cannot yield a commercial solution.
An example of this is the development of TAZERKA offshore field located in the Gulf of Hammamet (Tunisian / Italian border) with Tazerka FPSO
SMIP succeeded to improve the development of this field by optimizing the staff, the costs , the operations and by using its proper supply boat CLUPEA
SMIP has also developed on behalf of ATHANOR Tunisia B.V. three marginal
onshore fields: ZINNIA (North East part of Tunisia), CHOUECH ESSAIDA and
SANRHAR (South part of Tunisia).
SMIP can also draw up development plans for marginal fields.
